Depending on the plants, environment, and what I have available it may look a little different for every person. I tend to mix my soil like I cook, without a recipe and with just love. I sprinkle a little bit of this and a little bit of that until I can feel and see the level or chunkiness or grit I need.

This include Venus fly traps, pinguiculas, and droseras

If you want a simple mix, try a 50/50 carnivorous soil and perlite.
